We have known Jamie Reed for over 10 years and during that time he has restored various pieces of antique furniture for us. Some bigger jobs than others but we have always discussed the extent of the restoration needed before going ahead and agreeing estimates. He has a sympathetic feel for old furniture which shows in his work - not over restored but replacement pieces are cleverly matched, including veneer and stringing, colouring and polishing.

He recently gave us some excellent advice on how to best preserve some special items that had been water damaged before they could be restored by him. Our insurance company was extremely happy that we could engage a local expert rather than using their own.

We strongly recommend Jamie for his knowledge, expertise and reliability. He is also a delightful person to work with.
