Kitchen Making and Fitting
Using the techniques gained from formal training as a cabinet maker, kitchens can be refinished, have solid timber worktops made and fitted or have new doors and drawer fronts made. If it’s what you require, an entirely new kitchen can be designed, made and fitted by hand. Other cabinet making projects such as storage, bookcases and workstations can also be undertaken.
Flood Damaged Furniture Restoration
Specialising in the repair, cleaning and refinishing of your flood damaged furniture pieces. Reed Restoration have been looking after flood damage, fire and smoke damage, house removal damage, and general wear and tear of antique furniture since 1995. From small individual pieces to large collections, if it is important to you, it is important to us. Having served a formal apprenticeship with a BAFRA master restorer, Jamie is equipped with a specialised and well stocked workshop. With a collection of period timbers and veneers from the 16th 17th 18th and 19th centuries including rosewood, oak, mahogany and walnut. Using good old fashioned hide glue (authentic and most importantly, reversible) and a wide range of traditional hand tools Reed Restoration have a knowledgable and in-depth approach to the restoration of antique furniture items, and believe any piece that comes through the workshop should leave looking its best and not over restored. We have been looking after many clients who have suffered the terrible effects of a flood in the home for many years, and as yet, have not lost a single piece to flood damage. We have an entirely sympathetic approach to helping you through a catastrophic event.
